Contributions Wanted

Tsinghua Intellectual Property Review is co-sponsored by Tsinghua University-Microsoft Joint Research Center for Innovation and Intellectual Property and Intellectual Property Law Center. Students will be primarily responsible for the operation of this journal. The journal aims at the investigation of the existed problems of cross-disciplinary law in academic and practical areas, the persistence of the high academic quality, the absorption of excellent academic views, the reflection of the latest domestic and overseas research progress, the presentation of the latest level of legal system and theoretical development in the intellectual property field.

1.Researchers in the field of intellectual and cross-disciplinary are sincerely welcomed to contribute. The subject could base on copyright law, patent law, business secret, or the cross field of intellectual property and competition law or media law, or jurisprudence related with intellectual property. The contributions shall reflect on the latest academic achievement, investigate the hot issues in practical area.

2. Contributions are expected to be within a 30000-word limit(including the title, abstract,text and footnote). The remuneration is 100 yuan per 1000 words and a sample publication will be sent as souvenir.

3.Multiple submission will be declined and the contributions shall not be published before. Our journal also objects to the plagiarism of papers and opinions.

The contributions will be examined anonymously. Our journal will reply with comments whether the contribution is accepted or not. Our journal will inform the contributor of the result within 15 working days after the contribution is received . For each letter, there will be a response.

5.Attached title and abstract (each within 300 words), key words ( within five ), the introduction of writer (including name, working place, job title, correspondence address, TEL, email address)shall in English and Chinese.

6.For any contribution submitted to our journal, the writer shall be deemed to read or understand and agree with following content:

(1) The author takes sole responsibility for his views. The article published in our journal represents only the personal view of the author and does not necessarily reflect on the views and attitudes of the editorial committee or the organizer.

(2) The author shall guarantee that the contribution has not published on any paper or electronic media before, in the the same language version. Once the contribution has published on other journals or books before its publication on our journal, the publication will be stopped and the total remuneration will be recovered.

(3) The contributor shall guarantee his ownership of the copyright and he does not infringe upon the copyright of any other person or organization. The translator shall obtain written approval from the original copyright owner beforehand. Our journal will not take any responsibility in respect of the copyright issues (such as translation, picture, table and comparatively long quotation). Once the infringement on other people’s rights is detected, the publication will be stopped and the total remuneration will be recovered.

(4) The copyright of the contribution belongs with the author.  For any contributions submitted to our journal, the author shall be deemed to give the approval to our journal in respect of copy, text revision, and network communication.
