On the Remuneration of Employee Invention

On the afternoon of June 17, 2014 Tsinghua University Intellectual Property academic lecture was held in the fourth floor small conference room. This lecture is sponsored by Intellectual Property Law Center and Tsinghua University-Microsoft Joint Research Center for Innovation and Intellectual Property.

This lecure theme is “The Progress of Remuneration of Employee Invention “, and the speaker is Zhang Yonghua, the State Intellectual Property Office of the deputy director of the Department of treaty and law. Zhang Yan, the IBM Asia Pacific Regional Intellectual Property director, Associate Professor Cui Guobin, the director of Intellectual Property Law Center of Tsinghua Law School, and Jiang Ge,the lecturer of Tsinghua law school attended this lecture and commented.

The deputy director Zhang Yonghua participated in the whole process of research and demonstration of <invention bill (draft)> since 2012. Actually, he is one of the main authors. In the lecture, Zhang Yonghua introduces the <invention bill (draft)> respectively from three aspects: the background, process and main contents of the draft regulations. He emphasized the interest distribution priority and minimum security, the interest balance between the inventor and the unit large and small enterprises in the balance of interests.
In the course of lectures, the director Zhang Yan expressed gratitude to Zhang Yonghua, and discussed the contents of the draft with him. The Prof. Cui Guobin and Jiang Ge commented the draft from different academic aspects and had numerous exchanges of views with the deputy director Zhang. Many present students also have active participation in the discussion, which had an animated and lively atmosphere.
